the American Wizarding World

Okay. this is not about the school persay, more just about the american wizarding world.

THE MINISTRY:
They have a ministry of magic that runs like the brittish one.
They also have a president whose name is Dean Pierce. He's intelegent, and in his middle forties. He's a strong leader and a good wizard.
They have a wizard congress, house of representatives and all that junk too.

THE BANK:
Gringots.
is the same all over the world. end of story.

THE HOSPITAL:
Elbert: Healers of Magical Mess-ups
It runs pretty much like any other hospital. (of course they have healers rather than doctors)

THE EQUIVALENT OF DIAGON ALLEY:
They are found, under many various names, in malls all over the US.
(example: if you got to Stonecrest mall to the second story to the big green plant next to the old navy and kick the side of the pot, a door opens and you find yourselves in a wizarding stonecrest mall.)

THE CATEGORIES OF THE MINISTRY:
all over the US there are places to work on various ministry tasks. Usually about once a week, you have to apparate to Washinton DC for a meeting with your fellow workers of the same sect. (if you ever wondered why there are so many statues and momuments in DC, this is why, because all those meeting nad gatherings of wizards of differant areas of study need places to meet. They meet inside those various statues)
